There has been a lot of change in the organizational structure over the last few years as brands have been bought and sold, and there has been a lot of turnover in leadership making it hard to make progress on any one improvement strategy because that strategy is always changing. As with most companies, we're being asked to do more with less much more often. Work life balance is not always the best, depending on who you report to and how much they value their employees. Since Ingersoll Rand is so large, it often feels like the various departments are moving forward without considering their impact on each other and management is not working under a unified vision.
