      Friendly place to work

      Pros

      Salaried personnel are friendly and helpful to hourly employees. Most hourly employees are great to work around. Very good health benefits ( medical and dental ). Pay is above what most manufacturing facilities in the area are offering.

      Cons

      Lack of communication between departments causes unnecessary delays in production. Better screening of new temporary hourly employees needed. Ask for voluntary OT whenever possible, instead of mandatory OT

      Recognized brand leader, great technology, open to ideas on changes

      Cons

      The initiatives set in place on a corporate aren't always successfully carried out at the local level. Employees don't have assistance for growth within the company. Many remain in the same positions for decades with no internal advancement. Many positions work very long hours with no opportunities to work from home at all

      Pros

      Stable company, many divisions, ease of transfer between positions, decent benefits and 401K. Great tuition reimbursement and in house training (IR University).

      Cons

      I can only speak for the Atlanta office. - Many promotions through the Atlanta market were based on the buddy system - Very weak system to develop career paths for long term employees - Bad experience with a Service level manager (MHG). - Corporate does very little to present a hostile work environment. - Conflict resolution assistance through HR is slim to none without contacting corporate. - Promotions from within are discouraged
