Pros

Nice people overall within itself when you first come aboard

Cons

Worse in company to work for, mandatory overtime but only give you a 30 minute lunch break for a 10 hour shift which is for a full time employee and takes it back from you, only have two 15 minute break for a 10 hour shift again for a full time employee. Not good in time management at all.

Pros

Getting to meet the variety of commuters

Cons

You have to walk a quarter mile to use the restroom when you work in the toll booth!!! ALSO the same when you take a 15 minute break!!! They are very strict on time management too. They give you 2 minutes to walk that distance.... Although it takes about 4.

Pros

Some autonomy in the position, health benefits are decent.

Cons

Company has surreptitiously cut pay 3 times in as many years to rank and file employees. First they stopped allowing overtime if an employee is not actually in the field working, for instance, if there is a company holiday and 8 hours of paid time off they don't pay overtime for hours worked. They only pay overtime if you are actually in the field or working 40 hours. 2-they gave an average raise of 1.75% with an inflation rate of 8%, effectively a 6.25% pay cut. 3-they cut on call hours from 4 to 2 for people that are on call over holidays or weekends. Some managers with poor people skills. Company newsletter from CEO all positive about employees but no real substance. The biggest bonus from the company are backpacks branded Transcore and insulated mugs.

Pros

I wouldn't say there are any.

Cons

The company has been passed around so many times the benefits get worse every time. Management is aggressive and very much a "this is good enough attitude"

Pros

Working at TransCore offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative congestion pricing and tolling technology solutions that have a real impact on communities. Employees can gain valuable experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and develop their careers in a technology-driven environment.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better, in particular would like more vacation time. Conflicting priorities and sometimes the plan keeps changing making it hard to complete tasks on time.

Pros

No meetings and not stressful work

Cons

- Extremely messy and incapable leadership - hostile and toxic work setting - Manager often spent time negatively speaking about other employees while in office. -Manager often spoke about government politics which fostered an uncomfortable work environment. - Manager used slurs when in office - Manager held each employee under her with different standards. Some individuals worked from home on certain days while some did not. - Manager was not solution oriented. Often focused on the negatives over positives and did not give time to employees when issues occurred. No patience. - manager would message multiple times at once and ask me why I did not respond immediately. Extremely micro managed to an inhumane and unprofessional level. You would have to message if you were walking away from your computer to use the bathroom… completely unnecessary. - In office policy was changed upon hire - low pay and absolutely no growth - shift job; meant to be a temporary job. Pay does not meet market value. - I asked to work from home and was told to use a sick day, especially for religious holidays. - office was dusty and not sanitary
