Pros

Working at TransCore offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative congestion pricing and tolling technology solutions that have a real impact on communities. Employees can gain valuable experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with skilled professionals, and develop their careers in a technology-driven environment.

Cons

Pay and benefits could be better, in particular would like more vacation time. Conflicting priorities and sometimes the plan keeps changing making it hard to complete tasks on time.

Pros

Eventually management might let you go hybrid or remote, depending on your manager. It is pretty up in the air. Also if you get good with the systems, you will have job security forever.

Cons

Low pay, knowledge guarding, ununified management, low employee moral. Temp to hire in most cases. Pretty much everyone I spoke to that was entry level wanted to leave, mid level is not paid well, and management causes a lot of drama. Also skills dont really translate as everything is proprietary.

Pros

No meetings and not stressful work

Cons

- Extremely messy and incapable leadership - hostile and toxic work setting - Manager often spent time negatively speaking about other employees while in office. -Manager often spoke about government politics which fostered an uncomfortable work environment. - Manager used slurs when in office - Manager held each employee under her with different standards. Some individuals worked from home on certain days while some did not. - Manager was not solution oriented. Often focused on the negatives over positives and did not give time to employees when issues occurred. No patience. - manager would message multiple times at once and ask me why I did not respond immediately. Extremely micro managed to an inhumane and unprofessional level. You would have to message if you were walking away from your computer to use the bathroom… completely unnecessary. - In office policy was changed upon hire - low pay and absolutely no growth - shift job; meant to be a temporary job. Pay does not meet market value. - I asked to work from home and was told to use a sick day, especially for religious holidays. - office was dusty and not sanitary
