Pros

Free parking. Nothing else really

Cons

Little work-life balance — employees are expected to be on standby most of the time. Responsibilities are handed over within the first week with very minimal training. The assigned mentor (not the HOD — my HOD is actually supportive but too busy to train personally) tends to question mistakes instead of guiding, even when you are new. There is also little respect shown to newcomers, and some “mentors” act as if they hold authority simply because of their role. Internally, departments compete rather than collaborate, and the environment can feel quite political depending on who management favors.
