Pros

- They pay and benefits are satisfactory (not great mind you) - The location (next to Union Station, Ogilvie, and Blue Line) is great - Work life balance is decent

Cons

- Extremely political - Extreme red tape and bureaucracy - Very old school (think Man Men the tv show) - Jerks favored for management positions - Technology to do your job is antiquated and presents many barriers to doing good work

Great individual people, horrible bureaucracy and culture.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Some great people to work with.

Cons

TransUnion is an organizational nightmare. Change is slow-to-come and isn't always good when it does. Changes in the IT environment tend to cause problems just as much as fix them. Communication is an issue and involves mostly emails. Employees in many technical support roles are over-worked, often working 60-80 hours per week without compensation.
