Pros

Since my team was distributed throughout the US, I was able to work from home which is a huge plus for me. Most employees truly liked to help each other whenever possible.

Cons

The cons far outweigh the pros. The CIO is an opportunist who would "throw under the bus" anyone within reach if he felt it would further his own personal ambition. I've witnessed it personally. He also manages by fear. I would not mistake him for a leader in any sense of the word. For a company that publicly pronounced to its shareholders less than a year ago that it was transitioning to a "mobile-first" fintech business, dissolving the entire mobile team is what I would call a "career limiting move". TA will never be a leader in this space with this mindset. But, the main problem is: it's so easy to make money that they have no incentive to change.

Pros

Great Benefits. A lot of good employees who work hard even though morale.

Cons

Constant reorganization that stresses employees. Don't know from one day to the next whether they will have a job.

Keeps getting worse

Pros

The people. The community volunteering support. Movement to allow more remote employees.

Cons

Poor leadership High turnover at senior levels including a revolving door in CEO staff. Very few women/diversity in CEO staff or senior levels. Very little growth and limited promotions. Too many priorities, no one makes decisions, always have to do the impossible and when things fail they don’t learn. They pretend to embrace change management but don’t see anything through before changing again. Lots of contractors and due to chaos and no desire or discipline teams are set up for failure. They talk a lot but never create the environment and organization to accomplish things. This has continued to degrade the last 10 years.
