Pros
Friendly coworkers. Decent healthcare and $500 HSA company contribution.
Cons
Low pay. Laughable salary increases. Bonus is mostly dependent on company performance which you can never count on. The rest is based on personal performance where they put you up against your colleagues and only grant a small % of employees with highly satisfactory ratings. Benefits do not make up for it either. It takes 4 years to be fully vested in your 3% retirement match. Pretty terrible for a retirement company. Workload is very poorly planned. Sales runs the show and marketing is full of order takers. There are many days on end where there is literally nothing to do but you are still forced to stay online for appearances. Other days the work is rushed so fast and the quality of output suffers. Both scenarios are very unsatisfying and unfulfilling. No sense of ownership whatsoever. Insane turnover has led to desperate hires and unqualified team members, instead of promoting within. No one seems to know what they are doing. Way too many levels of middle management leaves employees too far removed from what's actually going on in the business. Zero culture and cringeworthy awkward silence on meeting calls.
