      Pros

      Average benefits and a pension plan that is not offered at too many other employers. Decent pay in line with industry. Great place if you work on new technology, social media and mobile applications.

      Cons

      Way too many brand re-launches and reorganizations. Still trying to find a corporate identity. After hundreds of lay-offs, remaining employees working with fear of the ax dropping on them next. Emphasis in employee communications is company involvement in social issues, not business.

      Constantly changing direction

      Pros

      Good coworkers, PTO is easy to use if resonable, work from home available. Good lower management.

      Cons

      This company has changed it's direction for the last few years. So much so, that you don't even know where it is headed. There is a reorganization about every 6-8 months that usually starts with laying off employees, and concludes with hanging a severence over their head. While my title has remained the same I have changed roles in the company about 5 times with no incentive compensation or choice. It's very hard to develop a career in this environment. Promotions are usually only give via a reorganization. Finally, employees here are vastly underpaid compared to both local and national averages. I have personally been at or near the minimum salary since I started.
