      Pros

      Great benefits, Health, dental, vision, 401k ( Matching), pension

      Cons

      The company is showing lack of caring for employees and more of getting things done faster with less. People are putting in 10- 12 hrs a day minimum on most teams with no recognition.

One is called BRAVO which is an all employee led recognition and the other is pay for performance which rewards top performance financially for their efforts.       Pros

      There's a good degree of variety to the work, lots of good and loyal employees, the benefits are fairly good for the current job climate

      Cons

      leadership seems to be unable to determine a direction for the company, job advancement and career path varies enormously by the area you work in, uncertain future for employees and very little loyalty from Transamerica, currently bleeding their most knowledgeable long-term employees

      Pros

      Coworkers were excellent. Benefits were decent but not great when compared to other local companies. The work was challenging & I enjoyed a lot of my time there.

      Cons

      Inconsistency among divisions related to salaries, management, advancement opportunities, etc. For example, salaries for same job could vary by thousands of dollars across divisions. Management in one area would be open to new ideas & closed minded in another area. The One Transamerica concept should help with some of this but frequent reorgs over the last 5 years created uncertainty, low morale and high turnover.
