Pros

They do give you a book of business to get started.

Cons

They micromanage you to death. The book will only help you for a month or so. They make the agent take on the role of customer service beyond what is typical in the industry so you end up wasting a lot of time. To make it worse management wastes your time as well with non-productive meetings and trainings leading to outrageously long hours to be able to sell enough to make a living. Their marketing does not work at all. Finding new clients is very difficult under their system.

Support, encouragement, infrastructure, and some training to start one's own business
