Company doesn’t offer great benefits

Terrible healthcare plan and benefits. Awful management that wants you to put the job over your family and life. Along with their client Waymo, they exploited a non-essential business to resume operations by saying they would be doing donation charity drives. Nothing but a farce with fake news. Safety measures have been thrown out the window post-COVID, they claim to be vigilant with their disinfecting when that is a lie. Employees who have not been properly trained are made to disinfect the cars without proper PPE. Change company policies on a regular basis without informing employees. They are more focused on autonomous miles than your safety, even if you’re tired or not feeling well. They will send you home without pay. You get deducted points by AVOS managers for speaking out about how things are poorly handled by either them or their client Waymo. Multiple layers of channels you have to go through to accomplish anything work related, no clear concise point of contact. It’s all over the place, you never know who is in charge of what.

Very limited benefits and high job insecurity

No place to grow, lack of management and training

1. From the start, I knew I wasn't going to stay long. I was so excited about the project initially. The interview process was so generic and they literally hire anyone with a driver's license and a heartbeat. 2. Unorganized in the hiring process. They also promised a sign-on hiring bonus to all new hires and I never received that bonus. 3. When we were on site, other employees of Waymo/Google didn't interact with you and I felt very unwelcomed. 4. There was no communication from Waymo or Transdev leadership about the important work we were doing and how Transdev contributed to Waymo's goal. We were there to be test dummies and log miles. Doesn't really sound motivating. 5. The pay is low. 6. The supervisors talk to employees like trash. They are quick to fire and will let you know that. They also foster toxic work environments. Supervisors and managers need some serious people skills and management training. 7. Communication is terrible. No one knows who is responsible for what. My HR related questions weren't answered and there is no one at corporate to help you. I was there for over 90 days and never signed up for benefits. 8. The benefits are crap compared to working onsite with a tech company. I mean there is a huge difference in benefits offered and Transdev doesn't offer much. Sometimes Waymo offices close and you won't receive pay.

Overtime is mandatory, and the regular shifts are long. 10 to 12 hours, 5 days a week. So you're looking at a 6-day workweek. It makes for a decent paycheck, but not much free time.

Benefits are not good +management

They push changes with short notice. They have cut all possible benefits like snacks or travel expenses. They spent so much money bringing people from AZ instead of giving incentives to CA employees Lack of communication from the management team. HR never responds to any of the questions you might have Too many people in the management team to "solve" problems but they just create more every week. Lack of leadership experience No break rooms for employees. People eat in their vehicles. They are making us pay for parking
