Really late to early hours. 8 hours minimum between shifts. Can take years to get a schedule that even comes remotely close to a life/work balance. RTD rules the show to too high of a degree.

- Unable to pay wages on time, with many colleagues having the same issues. I’m still waiting for my final wage and I left the company 2 months ago. No support from management or HR. - Buses often break down, with most having warning lights on the dash. Even worse in summer. - VERY low morale within the team with a high turnover of staff. - No exit interview. - Upper management don’t listen to driver feedback, when they come to “speak to us” they spend the time at the depot when all the drivers are in the bus station. - Often late finishing due to the spare drivers having to cover shifts instead of bringing drivers back to the depot after they’ve finished.

Upper management will abruptly change policies without notifying staff, and blame you for not knowing about the change. Management prioritizes metrics over safety. setting unrealistic goals, forcing drivers to cut corners. Zero growth opportunities, SF location has been in a hiring freeze since 2022. HR is retaliatory, and prefers to take a wait and see approach, for example, I was being threatened for my sexuality, and HR chose to do nothing about the issue.

Tough schedule to learn to follow with no way to double check electronically when you first start. Handwritten time cards for the entire training process.

High turnover rate during seasonal events

Mismanaged, ignores staff safety, sends profits overseas and gives nothing back to hard working staff
