Thank you for your input, I'm glad to say a number of things have changed and improved over the last three years, but each experience is valuable in understanding employee perspective to create the best culture for all.

Pros

none, the only pro is that it was close to home.

Cons

I had 5 people telling me how to do my job and every one of them told me a different way to do it. then tell me, don’t listen to her do this way it’s the way we have done it for 15 years blah blah blah... No procedures, nothing documented, very clannish and each person protects their own little fiefdom. Co-workers don't care about building a team and put walls up when ask for clarification or help.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We can say this is not the experience we desire for an employee to have during their time with the organization. To speak to processes, standardization and improvement is a growing focus for us. We have dedicated employees who are trained to help us do this with efficiency. As we progress with these efforts in more departments, our goal is to create solid, scalable, documented processes that can be used to train and support employees. In addition, we would encourage employees who are looking for improvement in the work environment to partner with a HR Business Partner who may provide valuable insight on opportunities to improve the work experience. We wish you success in your next endeavor.

Pros

Decent benefits. Decent pay, depending on the job.

Cons

This company is run with the “Good ol’ boy” mentality. If you aren’t “in” with the family, know someone in the family, have been there for 30 years or are a woman, good luck progressing. The sales environment is exhausting and you won’t get any positive feedback. Be prepared to deal with back-stabbing, being thrown under the bus and tons of disappointment. If you have a thick skin and aren’t expecting any type of advancement, you might be able to make it here. HR is pretty much useless and non-responsive.

We appreciate your feedback, and while we a customer-focused organization, we believe we also have a core focus on our employees. We do encourage all current employees to bring concerns to any level of management they feel comfortable with and are disappointed that you did not feel that was the appropriate course of action in your situation. We wish you the best and hope that you find success in your next role.
