Pros

Opportunity to network with various rental car agencies. Independent working. Consistent schedule and flexible hours. They send you a signed card from HQ on your birthday I guess.

Cons

No training. You are thrown into the company with the expectation to understand everything within a couple days. Complete lack of communication. Clients would find out company and product information before actual employees do, which means being frequently embarrassed. Severe understaffing, you will be dealing with the workload of 3+ people with no appropriate compensation. Their HR dept. is poor. Double-check wage laws with them. They keep PTO upon departure from company. If you turn in your notice they will ban you from using it in your final weeks. Product is buggy and is never fixed which means constantly apologizing to clients. Random firing of people to save money. Some of the best people in mgmt. were let go for no reason. The mgmt. that fills those positions are overworked and don't have the time to care about individual locations. If there are any company contests, you won't get paid out on it. Ultimately, just a huge disconnect between all branches. It creates an environment of confusion and winging it on the daily.

Pros

At first its fun and they offer decent benefits and match your 401k.

Cons

They went through many growing pains. Lots of constant change. Leadership was not the best and also constant management changes. Definitely not an open door environment. If you don’t brown nose the right people, your not a team player no matter how well your sales are. If I had the opportunity to do it all over again I wouldn’t. Not worth it! You’re never rewarded for your hard work.

Pros

Working as a developer at TravelTab has been a fantastic experience. The entire technology team at TravelTab is like a big family and has helped me grow as a developer ever day since day one. The company is very transparent and wants to to the best by there employees and the attitude from management shows that. The environment is very relaxed and the entire team is very focused on learning, doing things the right way, and helping each other better themselves both on a career and personal level.

Cons

TravelTab is a start up and with that comes certain pain points. The largest of some tends to be process and product management. While working with TravelTab there have been a few hiccups that could have been avoided, but nothing the team didn't buckle down, work through, and improve upon to avoid making the same mistakes again. Being a start up, there is a level of looseness in process and standardization, but in my time here the company is moving in the right direction.
