You have to provide what days you want off over a year in advance. You need to work some holidays. Under paid for the amount of work you do. Little to no recognition. Extremely high turn over and poor moral.

If you're thinking of moving to the Hartford office and you're not from CT, I don't recommend working here. Almost everyone in the Hartford office is from CT and they are not very welcoming to other views or cultures. I've talked to multiple people who have worked in other places across the US and we all had culture shock when we started working for Travelers. It's very much "their way or the highway" and they will purposely make your job miserable and refuse to promote you in hopes that you will leave their team simply because you have a different cultural normal for corporate america.
