Pros

There are career opportunities if you have enough patience, which leads to some growth. Trips abroad are also a good thing. Dress code and time flexibility.

Cons

Lack of innovation and vision from Business. We're always waiting until Expedia launches something to emulate it. No clear direction in technology. We're always deciding on the go. Overall instability. Salaries are way behind other companies.

Pros

Most teams are knowledgeable, seasoned, professionals capable of mentoring others. Great benefits (401K, time-off, and medical). Understanding of family responsibilities.

Cons

Mass exodus of employees the last 12 months; constant re-organizations; no clear direction; focus on non-game changing developments; little communication.

Pros

Great work culture. In-fact parent company Sabre Holdings, is highly recognized as one of the great places to work in India. You get an opportunity to work with a very diversified group of people. People who have been travel agents to flight attendants to iPhone app developers to website designers. The floor is always open for new ideas, recommendations.. people are passionate about travel. People are proud about Travelocity brand. All this creates a high-energy level in the work place and also inspires you to pursue opportunities that match your interests.

Cons

There is not much career advancement or an accelerated growth. You do have promotions, recognitions, performance feedback like everywhere else..but if you are looking for fast-track career advancement, higher level of responsibilities, leadership grooming etc.. you may be a little disappointed. The overall growth-appetite of people is less when compared to other fast growing ecommerce companies.
