Ticket counter: Communication and Management
Pros
1)As a ticket agent my coworkers helped each other use the computer system, helped throw bags onto the belt, helped keep one another accountable to the cut off times for flights, picked up shifts for one another when we needed a day, laughed with pax(passengers) and one another, etc. 2) from time to time you were truely able to bless a passenger and make their day, you had the ability to go that extra mile. 3) to go the extra mile to help military.
Cons
1) Management overall. They hire you full or part time, but they can't control the flight schedule and your paycheck reflects this. Instead of promising hours, they should show you a schedule and be upfront from the start. I was full time receiving very little hours. If you need a full paycheck, this company may not be for you. 2)They fail miserably at communicating with employees in general, and you have to be very cautious as to who you ask or talk with and how often. Your voice travels.
