      Salary and benefits are good - might have to stay forever

      Lots of older people here that are stuck in their ways, starting to see more young faces come in though.

      Pros

      Many opportunities to travel to other Tri-State facilities. They dont "skimp" on the fringe benefits; catered meals, ergonomics, technology, etc.

      Cons

      Many decisions are made to be politically correct instead of what's best for the company/members. Seems that there is a "good ole' boy" attitude and that sometimes hinders forward movement. The culture sometimes feels like Tri-State COMPETES with neighboring entities instead of working with them to ensure reliability of the Bulk Electric System.
