Pros

Steady and secure employment. Most of the tools and budget to do your job are provided.

Cons

Employees who consistently perform at a high level are not rewarded. Salary increases are not based on performance. Employees then become complacent and have no drive to perform better work. Managers are not trained to be managers. It is so hierarchial, it feels like you are working in the culture of 30 years ago. If you are at a lower or non-managerial level, your voice will not be heard.

Pros

The schedule is flexible. Benefits are good. Work is satisfying. Co workers are easy to get along with. Overall not bad.

Cons

Management promotes from the outside instead of internally. HR is stagnant and inefficient. They do not offer some of the benefits that other similar companies offer (telecommute, 9 80 schedules or 4 10 schedules, etc..)
