Decision-making is often reactive, politically driven, and opaque, which leaves employees confused and disempowered. Managers are not trained or supported to lead effectively, and leadership development is practically nonexistent. Priorities shift constantly depending on who’s in the room, and feedback or concerns are often dismissed or ignored. The culture is stifling, and morale suffers because people don’t feel heard or valued. Innovation is discouraged, and new ideas are often met with defensiveness. It’s hard to feel any sense of growth or progress in an environment where leadership is fundamentally broken.
