Pros

They are in an exciting industry.

Cons

If you are a young engineer do not work here. Not worth the experience. Work somewhere else. I was pitched a remote roll with 20% travel and mostly working with PLC and HMI software. The reality was traveling 80% of the time as a calibration tech because they couldn't find enough engineering work. A lot of the travel was on very short notice. Was called multiple times in the morning and asked to drive 2 hours away.

Pros

Great management and support. Executive employees will go with you to meetings if you need them or invite them. If you have your "stuff" together, and understand executive and upper management expectations, it's a pretty straight forward and simple job.

Cons

The job is very demanding for the engineering team. Lots of great ones get burnt out and from the sales perspective, this causes a lot of "starting over" on projects and employee introductions.

Pros

Exposure to advanced technical projects, Opportunity to learn about automation and industrial IT, Can be a good fit for those who prefer clear processes and structure

Cons

High turnover, quick to cut heads. Either your OG, or newbie. Very process-driven, limited flexibility, Critical feedback culture, little room for mistakes, Limited support for onboarding and role clarity, Siloed teams and slow decision-making, Demands sales excellence, but doesn't pay commission citing "existing business." Not a good fit for high-energy or business development-driven personalities
