A good place to start

Pros

I love working with people who are passionate about what they do.

Cons

There is little incentive to take on any additional responsibilities or duties in the laboratory. This is especially noticeable when we are lucky to receve a market adjustment, let alone a raise.

Best to avoid

Pros

Benefits were okay, not enough to stick around.

Cons

Consider this place a local LabCorp. They suffer from an incredible amount of management bloat, yet pass the work on down to the techs and lower. They give off a facade of growth, but are very much struggling financially, and continuing to make incredibly bad financial decisions.

Pros

Team is amazing. Great community of people. Good work life balance. There are projects that help add to resume. Doing a job that benefits my community.

Cons

HCM only values paid experience when hiring. Pay is low given the responsibilities expected of an employee. Benefits are not great. Exec team ask employees of our needs but don’t act on them in a meaningful way.
