Pros

Used to be family friendly company with good job stability, friendly staff and good pay

Cons

They work you hard with less pay. Good people get fired while bullies, sexual predators and drunk/addicts are given free passes time and time again. Also climate has become one of a hostile, finger pointing and social gossiping one; which is the exact opposite of what it was in years past. And, if they by chance let you go, in addition to their HR waiting out the entire 30 day reporting period for unemployment {you will not get unemployment soon}, they will not give you severance for many hard years of work. If you work here and feel your job is on the line, leave as soon as you can, because they will not give you anything.

Pros

This company is profitable and will probably survive as long as there are fish in the ocean and consumers who eat them.

Cons

Poor systems, bad processes, no clue. If you're considering joining, you would be wise to explore other options.

Pros

Corporate giving; IT Support and technology is good; Nice wellness program and additional health coaching; 401(k); Cool, walkable neighborhood to find places to eat and ways to get errands done after work; The product they make and sell is top notch, and something to be truly proud of.

Cons

Corporate office location not easy to get to, unless you live in the area - minimal bus service, not affordable to live in Ballard or surrounding areas. Communication relies heavily on email, little face to face communication, and very little being done to bring departments together in positive collaboration on projects. Telecommuting is not an option for about 99% of corporate employees. No formal programs to allow people to develop professionally. Compensation is not competitive, and structure for salary increase and bonus could improve. No formal review program, so nothing is based on rewarding by meeting tangible goals.
