Pros

The company has flex time which is amazing. Any overtime hours you work is banked so you can either use it as vacation or just get paid out for it.

Cons

Low pay and do not have enough women in roles of engineers or geologists.

Pros

Engages in quality deliverables and high performance. Leader in filed in terms of overall quality of work/project management. Excellent “lifestyle” benefits.

Cons

Pay for junior staff is an embarrassment. Consistently well below consulting peers. And despite the gaslighting and smoke and mirrors, management and HR are well aware of this, with have no intent to address. Unfortunately large client contracts are structured in such a way that restricts project level staff compensation - and turnover of young staff is just the accepted model. Rarely look to develop staff, and usually go to outside hires for mid to upper level positions. The most talented and aware younger staff last 2-4 years before realizing the grass is literally greener and moving on. The ones who last longer typically stick around because they like where they live and don’t have many options (WY, MT, etc).

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate your comments regarding our quality of work and the benefits we provide employees. Also, providing growth opportunities for our staff is important to Trihydro and we make every effort to provide opportunities to qualified, motivated, and interested staff, including an employee-led mentoring program. Many of our managers began as junior level staff with Trihydro and advanced through opportunities provided by Trihydro. We also put a great deal of thought into employee compensation and make every effort to provide fair and equitable compensation for the markets in which we do business.
