Pros

If you are willing to work 60+ hours a week for no extra pay and can politic with the good ol boys club there can be advancement in 3-5 years.

Cons

Management holds you back from advancement but will put the world on your shoulders without promotion or appreciation. Leadership is not decisive, dynamic, or vocal(lots of unspoken guidelines). Training is non existant at the US Central Operations level. Management fails at communication and information that should be common knowledge is kept secretive. Lots of longevity without advancement as people just dont want the headache of job searching.

Good afternoon, it is always important that we receive feedback from our employees whether positive or negative. I would love to have the opportunity to work through your concerns with you. Please ask someone at your branch level to provide you with the US Recruiting and Retention manager's phone number to further discuss your concerns. We appreciate that you choose Trimac as your employer of choice and would like the opportunity to assist you with your concerns. Thank you!

Pros

If you're in Houston, TX you "may" have job security

Cons

"We are a financial company disguised as a trucking company." Be prepared for spreadsheets and Power BI to run any profitable cost center into the ground no matter how profitable they once were. You are nothing but a payroll number especially if you are located away from Houston, TX and can be replaced at any moment regardless of length of service, merit or dedication. Keep your resume updated. Benefits have become expensive "catastrophic coverage" policies; there are far better packages elsewhere.
