Toxic Human Culture

Pros

Instead of a bonus we got points to shop on the Trimac website.

Cons

Trimac does not reach or maintain a professional and fair presences in the office. We are underpaid and over worked, some fought for 6 months+ for a raise just to reach the average salary of our positions. The new "bonus" program is based on your team and companies success in the year, Managers have always received decent bonus. The culture is poor and toxic, Trimac will host events, they are only ever on Sundays at the office. There is a huge divide and disconnect between the employees who work upstairs and downstairs. There are many pizza lunches and cake for peoples birthdays, however not the whole office is made aware of this, resulting in getting to pick through the leftovers, if there are any. The HR department falls short in their duties to support staff. It's known if you are unliked by certain VP's you will be pushed out of the company. We are forced to be in office 3 days a week, with little to none exceptions, or warnings. Along with an attempt to have employees sign a document, committing them to being in the office 3 days a week. Our jobs are very manageable remotely, majority of teams are spread out across Canada and the states. Some of who do not need to be in the office at all, nor are they forced.
