My team. Absolutely adored them. My director. Loves her and felt bad about the fact that she wanted change and tried to create change but upper management had her hands tied.

Cons

Lied about the job function and responsibilities. Switch and bait. Unclear training. No preparation for dealing with customers. Literally throwing you into the deep end of the pool. Made me really sad because I wanted to like it. Almost forgot to mention, if you’re black, good luck. While for the most part everyone is amazing, the micro aggressions are real.

Larger US firm with lots of resources.

Cons

This company buys smaller companies and tries to stitch them all together. The resultant culture of this process leaves a lot to be desired. All they seem to care about is using AI - just to say you use it, and replacing developers with off-shore teams.

Pros

Varied technologies and platforms. Fast paced development and good testing strategies.

Cons

Post-Covid assignments were not handled. Engineers with 16 years experience were not placed in other engineering positions when the European centered strategy changed. They were required to apply for positions with leet code testing, at the discretion of a newly acquired company that really had no openings. Our team had to scramble to contractor positions in defense to have jobs.
