Pros

As an Operations Director at Trimble, my compensation package was comprehensive and performance-oriented. It included a competitive base salary, complemented by a 15% annual bonus based on personal and company achievements. Additionally, there was a 3% profit share potential, dependent on the company's financial success, which added a performance-driven aspect to my earnings. A notable benefit was the annual stock grants, amounting to 10% of my salary, incentivizing alignment with the company's long-term objectives and success.

Cons

The work environment at Trimble, particularly in the Operations Director role, is characterized by its demanding nature, requiring total commitment. This translates to minimal downtime, reflecting a culture where constant engagement and a high-paced rhythm are the norms. While this dynamic can be invigorating and fulfilling for those who thrive in such settings, it might present a challenge for individuals seeking more work-live balance.

Pros

Work-life balance, role flexibility and mobility, opportunity to grow and try different jobs. Many of the people are great and colleagues want to help each other succeed.

Cons

Pay can be low compared to market average, especially if you started at Trimble more than 2-3 years ago. Have encountered very few managers who are actively looking to develop talent on their teams. Very little accountability and demonstration that there's an ability to develop a strategy and then execute on it. Lacks clear direction. Women and external hires in the C-suite don't survive long.

Pros

Trimble was a great company to work for prior to lay offs, but I do owe a majority of that credit to my direct leader. I was in the digital transformation/cloud platform organization which did have a group of great leaders. Compensation is fair and equal.

Cons

As many large corporations tend to have this issue, Trimble was moving too quickly for it's feet and tried to change too much too fast which lead to overspending, understaffing, and the end result....lay offs.
