Pros

Interesting technologies. Challenging problems to solve.

Cons

Business units are discrete. Not well integrated. Management is not very open. Its all work and no play. Lacks big time on the fun part. No place for employees to hang out and interact.

Pros

Easy to establish oneself. Easygoing work pace with little pressure. Good for vertical moves. Good for overseas people to get a job in the US.

Cons

Old boys network for promotion, outstanding performance is not acknowledge neither with promotion nor financial. Confused strategy and organization. Too many divisions and niches. Integration of acquisitions is difficult. Upper management (VP's, GM's) are mostly long term employees and hold the status quo, new ideas have a difficult time to e accepted.
