Co-workers are amazing and extremely supportive. Great comradery!

Cons

The benefit package is lacking. Work-life balance is also extremely lacking. You are expected to work over 40 hours and after hours very frequently, with essentially no overtime.

Great learning experience for environmental regulations and permitting due to a variety of clients and strong knowledge in environmental managers.

Cons

Larger offices have a busy schedule but not enough consultants and therefore junior levels work a lot of overtime (but as a salaried employee). Bad retention and failure to replace people when they leave means a continual cycle of being understaffed. Unable to complete trainings and non-billable work interests due to the excessive project hours.
