Challenging, committed to change, very slow to develop new business

Pros

Strong culture, nice people, generous benefits with PTO, high degree of autonomy is permitted in coming up with new ideas and presenting new processes/redesigns

Cons

You can move up, but like most organizations, you will not be compensated what you deserve as you grow within the organization. They also have a shotgun approach to strategic planning (move faster, but analyze again)

Too many chiefs not enough Indians

Pros

Good Pay, great for gaining experience, work/life balance, ability to work from home from time to time.

Cons

Many people have left the company since the merger due to lack of cohesiveness and uncertainty about their jobs. Decisions are made without communication between both sides. The amount of meetings are counterproductive especially when people are battling back and forth about their ideas. The morale is down especially amongst individual contributors and lower management. Senior management is in and out the door, lower managers have no real power to institute change nor do they care at this point, and the individual contributors have no real voice (although they're encouraged to speak - yeah right!) Raises and advancement opportunities are nearly non-existent. Individuals from the CHE feel that the Trinity folks are all snobs and know-it-alls while individuals from Trinity feel that the CHE folks are all incompetent. For someone who is trying to remain neutral, it is not a good scene to watch.

Pros

Everyone needs an experience like this learn what its like to work in a cumbersome, ineffective out of touch organization that focuses on comfort and customary practices

Cons

Nothing innovative . A passive aggressive culture, few opportunities for employees, leadership takes credit for employees successes, are quick to blame for failures. Top heavy structure, not flexible, average wages, average benefits nothing to draw or keep top talent
