No work life balance

Pros

The base salary is reasonable for most, though opinions vary. I felt fairly compensated until additional responsibilities were added. Bonuses have helped offset the increased workload.

Cons

Increased workload without corresponding pay raises makes it challenging to retain and grow future leaders—especially when limited time is available for proper onboarding. Additionally, both physicians and APPs would benefit from structured behavioral coaching to support team development.

Pros

Salary was fair to good. Enjoyed creating appeal letters to send back to the payer. Flexible schedule-able to go to doctor's appointments and then make up the time. Received severance pay according to how long you had worked for them.

Cons

Productivity numbers increased. Pre-recorded video from management advising the department that we would be working for 2 more months, then out of a job. Severance pay was not for a long enough period of time. There was no meeting with management before our last day. We found out our jobs were being sent to another country.

Worst job ever

Pros

The pay wasn’t bad. Benefits were ok.

Cons

Never ending work load. Coding position was more of a billing job. Very little help and support from management. Expected to know how to code and bill for every specialty without training.
