Low pay, expects more from you all in day and then want more and more for less and less. Your time has to be spot on otherwise they ding you on your HR record and you get 6 and get written up and the terminated even if you clock off 1 minute late. The time card considers you late out and you get a ding.

Too many high acuity patients per one nurse. 7-8: 1. No charge nurse, no support staff, no CNAs, Primary care on a neuro/stroke unit. Very scary. Did not sign a second contract even though the pay was good. Dangerous, patients on the floor needing rapid response often throughout the day. That experience made me take better care of my health, I don’t want to end up in a hospital as a patient in a place like that.
