Heavily layered management with a lot of politics. Priorities constantly changing. No clear vision of customer satisfaction. Little regard for employee satisfaction.

The computers employees use are old and have old software. I've worked there for over 3 years and we recently migrated to Microsoft Outlook from Group Wise. Many departments use paper for everything and management is not up to date on technology or trends in healthcare or in human resources. Many in management do not have previous management experience and/or degrees and it is sometimes challenging to work with management who are not up to date on trends and use the statement "that's how we've always done it". Benefits are not the best. Working for a healthcare system you would expect the best but not here. Also, not enough Time Off is provided. If you want to take time off during the holidays you have to use your PTO time?! Not enough telecommuting opportunities.
