      Pros

      Helpful and timely support from HR, IT, and other corporate offices. Good communication and a great network to get help on any issue with. Excellent emphasis on safety, training, and quality.

      Cons

      Difficult environment that is open 365 days a year and lower quality of recipes leads to inmate complaints. Work must be completed at all costs.

      Pros

      Decent pay. I got hired on as Unit Manager which is one step below the General Manager for the Jail Kitchen. Told once I get my bachelor's degree I am going to be prepared to go even higher in upper management.

      Cons

      No real cons. Besides waking up early. It's food service managerial work. So it's not that bad
