Pros

My coworkers were good people, incentivized me to work harder on my real long term goals so that I never have to return to a life that is in any way similar to this.

Cons

This is a terrible place to work if you have any real life ambitions. Being a graduate with dual degrees I figured I’d give this a chance while I wait to pursue higher education. I was immediately put off during my training week seeing the amount of low character hires that would be joining me. There are of course high performers, but if you have any true life ambitions you will likely not align with the bro hustle culture that they preach. You will notice that a lot of the top performers simply had no other choice. If you are someone with any semblance of self belief for the future. Do not take this role. The turnover is unreal and they hire people every week. They play a military officer speech at the end of training, which is downright comical because the hiring class is misguided young individuals and people who are in their later adult stages viewing knocking on doors as their big break in life. It is sad when you analyze it from a macro point of view. You will be expected to knock doors in 100 degree weather and in pouring rain.

Pros

Base pay plus commission, competitive incentives, good insurance, supportive coworkers, casual in-office environment, can clock out early if you meet a day's goal, great opportunities for advancement

Cons

Lots of rejection, 6-7 hours of walking/driving a day, training that doesn't properly prepare you, requires a very special personality, feeling of lack of success, I don't live in a good area for soliciting, people have a preconception about you from the second you knock on their door
