Pros

Great teammates and high salary

Cons

Horrible management. Team leaders do not know how to manage the team and all they care about is the numbers to keep their jobs. They expect you to reply them whenever they find you. You will need to answer them at 11 pm or in weekend or even during holidays. If you don’t reply them, they will call you or abuse your attitude. Team structure or people who you work with are constantly changing and you might be required to change your job duties since there’s no one who can work on that position. HQ HR is useless. They have a relationship with some team leaders and don’t listen to people who advise them before quitting a job. Definitely no to those who cannot speak Chinese fluently and those who want to have a healthy work environment. If you are eager to learn how to work with Chinese people, maybe you can try but won’t be easy.

Pros

Nice location and office. Nice pay compared to low end outsourced call centers but on par with banks for example. Still expanding so some opportunity to grow but how it is done you can read bellow.

Cons

Nobody from management has any relevant background and have no idea how simple things work in company, therefore your knowledge or experience doesn't matter, you can only get promotion if you are friends with management. Who is promoted is decided weeks in advance of interviews (I know of at least few examples). Sometimes Team Leads would refuse taking a call when a customer would like to speak to a supervisor or they would all leave for same meeting and you wouldn't have any senior support at all. The company is quite scammy check the negative reviews on Trustpilot about Trip.com or Ctrip.com (Most of 5 Star reviews are obvious fakes). That means you would often need to lie to customers or promise something you know wont be delivered. I could continue but you get the picture, almost everybody I ever spoke to are looking for a new job.

Pros

cant think of any to be honest

Cons

- Very strong Chinese culture, people in Shanghai are clueless about what is going on here, yet they are the ones who decide how things work in this company. - Company management is a mess, there is no clear direction or strategy to follow, the main reason is they want to cut down the cost on commission that everyone should receive, so dont be surprised if it is the end of year and they still havent confirmed what was your KPI. - Very little respect to employees, they will try to take advantage of you to the last day if they can.
