Pros
Multicultural environment; continuous learning and development opportunities, room to grow with the business and kick start your career. While this is a cool looking office, with loads of cool people, this is not an environment for slouching bare minimum performance. At it's core, this is a fast paced tech company, yes you're in the service side, but it is no less professional or performance driven. KPI and Data have central role in driving customer satisfaction, so high agility, adaptability and open mindedness needed.
That said, the business is very generous. Especially given the service environment.
Life insurance;
Perks & discounts platform
Some health coverage
Parental bonuses per child
Additional parental leave
Hybrid working
Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses across all job levels and types.
Work anniversary benefit
Generous annual leave.
People focused culture.
Continual office upgrade (this place is COOL)
Regular visits from senior members of the business and regular vision and strategy sharing from local and business leadership across multiple townhalls and other global events makes you feel connected to something bigger than just having a "little office job".
Here's a great example:
What other business do you know of that has run a "talent idol" style contest for employees, and then select teams of employees from around the world and send all expenses paid to perform in front of a stadium of employees in Shanghai, showcasing and celebrating our international diversity?
Cons
Keeping or building high resilience can be a challenge for newcomers expecting a run of the mill service center job, or for those who want to transfer into the more tech-support or semi professional roles; but there is plenty of support in place. This is a great choice to kick start your professional career if you take is seriously.
