Pros

Travel Industry Perks Healthy Office Environment Multicultural - Trip supports many different languages and so naturally they employ people from all over the world to support these languages. It is a vibrant and inclusive place to work. As well as different cultures there is no discrimination against who can work here the office is very diverse. The main requirements is that you are efficient using a computer and would be preferred to have customer service experience especially in a call center. Positive Atmosphere- Our Culture specialist is constantly updating us with events and special days that are happening across the world and we celebrate often with decorations or treats in the kitchen. For example for valentines day we were provided with mini envelopes to leave a message for someone in the office to let them know how great they are. Feel Supported and Encouraged to succeed Opportunity to grow within the company Location- Center of Edinburgh. Beautiful city and friendly people. If you are an agent you are speaking with and helping people with their holiday. Often times you can have some rapport with the customer. Good if you enjoy problem solving. You are monitored and reviewed on your performance which is good so that you know how to improve.

Cons

Nature of the job requires evening and weekend shifts but its manageable and fairly distributed and the company tries to accommodate preference. (but in the end depends on business needs) Using many platforms (not all cohesive and efficient) across daily tasks - I believe operations could be refined in this regard however in saying that since starting I have already seen the company improve and adapt and become more user friendly. - management level Agent level- you are provided with training (6 weeks) but navigating the system and learning our procedures can be difficult for some people. You do deal with complaints and sensitive issues at times which may not suit you. You are monitored and reviewed on your performance which may not suit you if you do not take feedback well.
