      Pros

      In some roles you can actually help people, in spite of the processes which try to make this difficult.

      Cons

      Pay reduces every year (below inflation increases). No progression at all. Systems and supports constantly being reduced, with funding having been removed by the government. Upper management has NO IDEA what they're doing and don't care AT ALL about anyone but themselves. Culture is cut-throat and and toxic: it's all about about who you know not how good you are.

      Ok salary if you work full rotating shifts

      Cons

      You won't get anywhere if management decide they don't like you. Managers are just calltakers who were liked by previous managers (who were also calltakers) - no management experience needed, no minimum time before promotions, as long as you're liked, you'll get far
