Matrix organization, so understanding how the company works can be confusing some times. Sometimes it feels like you may work for more than one manager because of the natural collaborative nature of the company.
TEI is a service firm and that puts a lot of emphasis on customer service - this can result in stress for some employees. It can also result in longer hours.
Not every employee will be promoted through the ranks, because TEI is a performance based company. Though almost all management jobs are hired from within, management is looking for specific characteristics and traits as they promote people into higher level roles, so not everyone will be promoted. This makes people sad sometimes.
Triumvirate expects people to be great at their job if they want to get ahead.
Entry level jobs are a mix of blue and white collar. Triumvirate only hires people that can excel in the white collar functions. Sometime employees get sad about the blue collar nuances of the job (trucks, boots, chemicals). These job duties are discussed in the interview process - make sure you listen to job descriptions and are honest with yourself!
You will only get out of this job, what you put in. People that aren't looking for opportunity and seek greatness can become sad and performance managed out of the company.
Decentralized work environment. This can be a challenge for employees who need lots of direction and are not great at working autonomously.
Growth oriented company - this can result in some employees getting stressed because the company is always asking for more.
