A Non-profit? Ha! High pay at the top management.

Pros

A few positive people there working to help clients.

Cons

Only the people at the top of the organization making great money, nice offices, great benefits. They like to "look good" on the outside. Workers in direct care and mid-management treated like dogs. Non-profit pushes constantly to make more profit. If not making money, will get rid of you without a reason or a thanks. Keep staff who are bad if they are needed in areas that few want to work. Lots of men in management and lots of relatives. Don't work for salary. They will use you up. They will not listen to legitimate concerns.

Thank you for your review. Our employees are the heart of our organization and we’re sorry you did not have a positive experience. Trivium is committed to having an inviting, inclusive, and diverse workforce that allows our employees to best serve our clients. At Trivium, we strongly believe in hiring the best person for the role. We recently raised the starting wages for all our entry-level employees, so all DSPs make at least $15.50 per hour and have the opportunity to advance. As a non-profit organization, Trivium is mission-driven and any profit made throughout the year goes right back into the organization for the benefit of our clients and staff. With our continued growth to offer our services in more communities, we moved to a new corporate location with expanded capacity to meet these goals. Our Council Bluffs and Ida County locations also moved into new offices to fit their needs. We want all staff to have the equipment and support needed to succeed. We are a Gallup Strengths based organization and always strive to listen to our employees and respond to their concerns.

Pros

Working with the clients . They are amazing and will teach you more then you will ever teach them.

Cons

The management will put you down. Make promises they never do. They do not care about the clients . The management will do things to make working and staying positive hard and will degrade you if you try and go above them to get help with things going on. They violate the clients rights and do things that benefit the company and not the clients.
