Pros

Troy as a whole was quite nice. The University was on solid operational footing, and the area seemed supportive.

Cons

That said, as with any place, the unit in which one worked was a major factor in the quality of one's experience, and experiences could differ wildly. Mine was not great, but some people stay happily for years.
