Pros

I was given the opportunity to work around my schedule. I liked how it was salaried. I liked the feeling of being a part of something "big".

Cons

My coworkers are brown-nosers. Women cannot move up in the organization without being married to a successful man. Upper management claims they want to understand the workers on the front lines; but they don't. Instead, they create very, very unrealistic goals.

Campus environment, people, experiences, events you get to attend, upper management. off time because of school events, worked around my schedule, thought me time management

Cons

low pay, big work load, and often required to work long hours depending on the department you work for. Some of the people we difficult to work with.

Technically gaining experience in desired field of student services/higher education

Cons

Truly nothing positive to say - no direction, no real training, expect 24/7 commitment to Troy, but provide no reason to think Troy is anything more than second rate. Management has no idea what they're doing or what they want - expect recruiters to magically bring in hundreds of 'quality' students with no regard for how to do it and reject every idea of how improvements could be made. Feel stuck and desperate, and the management's attitude is that anyone should just be grateful to have a job.
