      Pros

      So many talented leaders who strive to do a good job. Top level leadership is very impressive, really displays our values, and seems to genuinely care about employees. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program is great. Such a great focus on career development. Managers are held accountable to ensuring that their direct reports have a career and development plan in place. Tons of mobility throughout the company. You see many people who have been at CUNA Mutual for years and have been able to explore all different kinds of roles.

      Cons

      It's a large, risk-averse company. There can sometimes be too much bureaucracy, but there's a huge focus from leadership on improving it. I've found that I really enjoy being at a large company that feels accountable to employees and the community.
