      Good Workforce, Lousy Management, No career advancement

      Wonderful rank and file workers

      Lean 6 Sigma directs the company. Management does not have the balls to fire itself so it follows LSS slavishly where efficiency is suddenly a problem. No room for advancement. I literally had the best credentials in the company and I was passed over for promotion in favor of and uncredentialed newbie. Nice. Management stated clearly, "The CMG labor union is an impediment to management." Let's send that observation out to the core clients of CMG....the labor union credit unions. Avoid this company.

      Pros

      This is a great company to work for. Senior management has a great strategic vision and is driving the business forward.

      Cons

      There is not much downside working here. The main issues are with Madison, as it is fairly small which makes travelling to and from complicated.

      Pros

      Strong financial services/insurance business with proven track record. Community focused. Employee development is a focus with career progression available. Tenured, knowledgeable workforce. Excellent benefits. Strong leadership.

      Cons

      Hard to break through existing ways of doing things at times. This is in part due to the tenured workforce. Need to be more progressive with technology. Can be limited at times with being innovative due to limited landscape.
