With the change in CEO, there was to be an increased focus on transparency. While I feel the CEO seems to be doing a good job of that, I don't believe certain members of the leadership team are doing the same. It appears that there are fear tactics that are coming top down for making decisions. This was a big switch for me in a culture that was collaborative and doing what was best for our employees. Being in HR you want to see that type of culture. We should be providing opportunities for employees to grow and develop and in return they will help take the company to the next level. Instead, HR Leaders are "leading" a group through secrecy and intimidation and in my opinion, not thinking of the company's overall strategic goals. As HR Professionals, our job is to ensure that the workforce is ready to respond to the goals and execute. Disappointing.
