Pros

The health insurance is affordable.

Cons

Lack of training as they transition to a new client based system. The company needs to transition to modern practices and have more online account management for customers. Work load on employees is very demanding

Pros

This company is where I started by first engineering job and I could not be more grateful for it. I work on a great team that deals with a number of technology tools that has made me extremely well versed just in my first year alone. Most managers support the growth of each employee whether that means advancing in your current position, transitioning to another or simply using the resources offered to learn new skills. It's amazing that in 2023 the company is still offering fully remote work to its employees without the fear of needing to return back to office. I understand why people join this institution and stay for 10+ years. Go TruStage (formerly CUNA Mutual Group)

Cons

The company dragged its feet with renegotiating a contract with the union which has left all union employees without a raise and struggling financially. As of 12/7/2023 a tentative agreement was reached between TruStage and the workers union but this has been a con for sure, not knowing if you'll continue working on the same salary as the price of living continues to go up :/

Pros

I don’t really have any pros.

Cons

I am new to the company and I hate it! People are in clicks, gossip a lot, backstab, and there are too many baby boomers that are resistant to change. If you are new and young, be prepared to be an outsider unless you are white and from a small town. If you share ideas, you will be shut down. I don’t recommend coming here as a minority especially in sales. Don’t waste your time. Pay is super subpar. Lots of bait and switch so be prepared to come in and work 3 times more than you were told and to not be heard on workload.
