Worked there for 8 years...Most of the people I worked with are really great people, especially in the summer when it's reaching 115 degrees, everyone tried to keep a positive attitude. Really good pay, and decent benefits. The company continued to function during the economic collapse in 2008, despite other factories laying people off.

Cons

Unless you are in the good ol' boy club, you won't go far with a lot of the supervisors. There are people who have been fired for a lot less than what some of the supervisors do, but it all depends on who you hunt, fish or hang out with. That was my worst experience there. A previous response from the company said "continually strive for an environment where all employees are treated fairly and equally". That might look good at a high corporate level, but I guarantee, in the trenches, not so much.

When there are opportunities for advancement, the positions are posted company wide. Therefore, Team Members from any location and/or any shift, have an equal opportunity to apply and interview. Then, the most qualified candidate is chosen. In attempt to get to know Team Members better, we hold different company events, such as True’s Family Fun Day and yearly basketball, softball, and volleyball tournaments. Our Team Members are not a number to us; we appreciate each and every Team Member and want everyone to be successful at True. Similar to any company, True is always growing and improving. We do continually strive for an environment where all employees are treated fairly and equally. Our company has multiple leaders in place in each building. Therefore, if a Team Member has suggestions and/or concerns, there is someone for them to reach out to and speak with daily. We are sorry you feel this way. There are many people who are very proud to work for the leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration that offers steady work and great benefits.

Cons

Haven't found any Cons with the company. It's loud a lot of the time and the buildings get quite hot in the summer but they try to reduce those effects as much as they can.

Pros

People in general were great to work with. Benefits used to be fantastic but not anymore. Health insurance costs are high with a high deductible.

Cons

Unless you are buddies with the supervisor or manager you will get no merit raises. Only place I have worked at where your work ethic and attendance counted for nothing toward me getting a raise.
